To cultivate community, nourish resilience, and grow access to fresh, healthy food by empowering local families, schools, and seniors through hands-on gardening, education, and shared stewardship of the land. 

Vision Statement:

We envision a future where every child and family—regardless of income or background—has access to fresh, nutritious food and the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through hands-on gardening, early food literacy, and community-powered solutions that nourish both body and mind. 


Gathings Community Gardens is  501 (c)3 non-profit corporation registered in the state of New Mexico.

Jeremy Gathings- Board Chair / Co-Founder Agricultural lead and operations coordinator for Gathings Gardens. 

Michael Gathings -Vice Chair / Co-Founder Collaborates with fellow board members to develop strategic plans, review program effectiveness, and guide the nonprofit through periods of growth and change.

Selece Gathings -Treasurer Passionate about community health, early childhood, and sustainable gardening. Oversees financial planning and budget management. 

 Azariah Tower -Secretary Responsible for meeting notes, records, and communication.
